Since I have been out of work for the last few weeks, it has given me the opportunity to collaborate on a couple of fun projects. I really enjoy the collaborative process, especially when it forces me to change my approach to shooting an image or work in an unfamiliar environment. I haven’t always been super comfortable shooting outside using natural light, and have done a couple of workshops (in particular Peter Coulson’s Natural Light workshop in Melbourne) to try and challenge my workflow.
Here I worked with Percy Katt who has a very strong conceptual approach to his shoots. For this project we came away with 3 very different looks, and both edited in very different ways. You can see Percy’s edits over on his Tumblr –The 9 lives of Percy Katt
