My friend Cari blogs about our trip to Amherst Island for Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving came and went (seriously, where is this year going in such a hurry?) and we took full advantage of the three day weekend, heading out of the city to visit with friends. We have friends living in Toronto and decided that meeting halfway between Montreal and Toronto would be a great way to catch up. We ended up on Amherst Island, a place accessible only by ferry, about 10km outside Kingston, Ontario. It was such a great weekend and just what I needed to relax and recharge. The cottage we rented had the most beautiful lake front property and we really truly felt like we were a million miles away from the rest of the world!
Jesse was in complete Duck Toller heaven.
