cottage Thanksgiving came and went (seriously, where is this year going in such a hurry?) and we took full advantage of the three day weekend, heading out of the city to visit with friends. We ended up on Amherst Island, a place accessible only by ferry, about 10km outside Kingston, Ontario. It was such a great weekend and just what I needed to relax and recharge. The cottage we rented had the most beautiful lake front property and we really truly felt like we were a million miles away from the rest of the world!
