After working in the corporate world for 25 years, I decided to form my own company to focus on what I’m most passionate about – developing leaders!
I love to see leaders at all levels discover their individuality, grow their strengths and capabilities, and emerge transformed.

I named my company “Liberate Leadership” because I believe all of us have a leader within us that is waiting to emerge. With the right conditions, support, encouragement and tools, we can tap into this leader, develop our knowledge, cultivate our skills, and elevate our performance to become amazing leaders in our work and in our lives.
Over the years, I’ve seen that the majority of leaders – whether they be front-line operational supervisors, managers, directors or VPs – are promoted into their roles based on their technical knowledge, skills and abilities. And while its definitely important to have these, this is not enough…
Being a great people- leader takes specific skills and, a particular mindset. To grow as a leader, focused learning and development is required.
In my experience, leaders are made not born – anyone can be a great leader if they learn how!
I also believe that leading people is the both the most challenging and the most rewarding job in the world.
Time and again I’ve seen individuals struggle with the nuances of leading others, because they’ve never really learned how.

This is where my passion lies – in helping leaders grow and develop, to become the very best they can be. I also believe that this is a lifelong learning journey; even an experienced leader can learn new things about leading others.
My ideal client is any leader (supervisor, team-lead, manager, director, VP, etc) who wants to grow and develop.
While many of the people I work with are new leaders, I also work with experienced leaders. And, I’ve worked with some people who aren’t in leadership roles yet, but who aspire to become supervisors or managers someday.
Really, anyone who is interested in developing and cultivating their leadership skills is my ideal client!

Every time I work with individuals or teams, I have the privilege of seeing people walk away with more than what they arrived with.
This can be more knowledge, more tools, more confidence. Everyone has a different and personal experience of growth.
Knowing that I’ve been able to make a difference – no matter how big or small – inspires me and feeds my soul.

Some fun stuff about christina
- Growing up I was a farm girl so I know how to drive a tractor, bail hay, milk goats, shear sheep and what mix of manure is best for fertilizing. My head is full of random farm facts.
- I'm not sure if it was because I grew up as a farm girl, but I love chickens. I find them irresistibly cute.
- On a non-farm related note, I love history! I've been fortunate to have travelled to some fantastic places including Paris, London, Rome... its amazing to walk the same stones as people who lived so long ago.
