I have collaborated with Dagmar on a number of occassions now. I wanted to share with everyone how she uses her own experience to help her clients overcome adversity through her business Courage Space Coaching.
I believe that adversity and challenges can be opportunities for growth and transformation.

I’m passionate about working with people in change, helping them move forward when they feel stuck and helping them get past the obstacles holding them back from becoming their best selves.
My path has taken me from adventurous hiking guide to creative web designer to passionate coach and it’s shaped who I am today.
It seems though, that being a coach has been my calling ever since I was a young girl. I’m completely inspired by those who are able to pick themselves back up after great adversity and create a new future.
I’ve personally had to recreate myself through adversity, choosing to grow and transform on my journey to becoming my own best self.

And now my most meaningful work is what I do now through Courage Space Coaching.
I am a Certified Professional Coach and facilitate and guide through the process of providing clarity and direction to help individuals and businesses reach their full potential and achieve the results they’re looking for.
I provide one-one coaching, group coaching and custom designed facilitated workshops.
I work with extraordinary people and businesses, coming alongside them through their change, growth and transformation as they take the next step.

I was inspired to start this particular business by my own coach/mentor who helped me change my life in a significant way. The way he worked with me was in a way I’d never experienced before.
He never told me what to do, however he inspired me and coached me through a process of moving forward in my life and breaking through every obstacle that came my way.
I wanted change, I wanted to move forward and I wanted to grow. And my coach facilitated this process, which became an unforgettable period of transformation in my life.

Having always had a passion for helping and inspiring others, I knew this was what I wanted to do for others as well. And confirmation this choice was when my coach told me that I had a gift for this and this is what I should do.
My ideal client is someone who wants change in their life and/or their business, they’re done with their current situation and they’re ready to do whatever it takes to grow. They are ready to invest in positive change and they’re ready to make a strategy for the future.

The story behind becoming a coach for me is around my personal story of overcoming recent adversity in my life. And what I hear from my clients, is that the gift that I now offer them is the growth and learning I developed through overcoming this adversity and life challenging situation.
I understand challenges.
I understand obstacles.
I understand the feeling of being trapped and/or not knowing what to do to get out of a situation.
I understand being emotionally overwhelmed.
I understand failure.
I understand hitting rock bottom and not being able to see your way back up.
And now the gift I offer is what I learned about how to get back up, how to overcome, how to reinvent yourself and how to turn a challenge into life’s greatest opportunity.

I’m inspired every time I work with one of my clients.
The moments that are the most inspiring I would say are when a client has a breakthrough and are able to see a situation in a new way for the very first time, while letting go of emotions that have bound them for as long as they can remember.
It’s the releasing of the past to create a new future that is the most amazing process to witness.
Another thing that is beautiful to witness is when a client gets in touch with their purpose, that thing inside that makes it all worthwhile and that lights up their soul. You can see it shining and sparkling through their eyes and the corners of their mouth as they smile so freely.
Every time I coach I get more focused and excited about my work and the possibilities for how I can make an impact with people and in their lives and business. That in itself keeps me continually motivated without a doubt.

Some fun stuff about Dagmar
- I have a quirky sense of humour and I use it to make people laugh to break the tension in situations that I feel need it! Most of the time they laugh and even if they don't, I usually get just a funny look, which is ok too.
- I recently bought a brand new mountain bike and named it Alejandro - for some reason it's a name I've always loved and mountain biking is a true love and passion of mine. - this is weird I know... 🙂
- When I talk about and get fired up about things that I love, I get the goose bumps.
