Lifestyle Shoot with Sapphira
When my friend Sapphira decided to sell her loft style apartment, we did a lifestyle portrait session. Together we created images to celebrate this chapter of her life.
Sapphira was one of the first people I met when I first moved to Toronto and someone who I felt was a kindred spirit, and so it was not really a surprise when we found out we share a birthday. Somehow I end up being really connected to other Pisceans and I’m trying to collect birthday twins in each city I live in. My other birthday twin in Melbourne is also a creative soul.
Sapph owned a really beautiful apartment in downtown Toronto, which she had redesigned from the original floor plan to realize her vision. The end result was an open plan, industrial loft with an awesome walk in dressing and make up alcove.
When Sapph decided to start a new chapter of her life and sell her loft, she asked if I would photograph her so that she would have some beautiful images to remind her about the amazing times she had spent there.
One of my favourite things was the polished concrete floors and beautiful light. One of my behind the scenes videos was actually shot in this loft.
