Sakura Cherry Blossom Trees at High Park
Photography by Angela McConnell
Today I decided to take advantage of the warm, sunny and breezy (23 degrees before a windy front hit this afternoon), and check out the Sakura Cherry Blossom trees in full bloom at High Park.
It’s an easy ride on the subway from our house, but I probably wandered around the park for an hour or two taking in the gorgeous weather and fighting other photographers for prime vantage for shooting blossoms. The great thing is that the wind was picking up the blossoms and making a blossom snow which was so beautiful!

I also got a 30 second video on my phone with the wind blowing the cherry blossoms into me, but cannot figure out how to upload it here 🙁
Hopefully more adventures to come this week, including a super exciting studio photography project! Stay tuned!
