VOKRA Kitties 2018
Sharing images of some of the gorgeous adoptable cats who have been rescued by VOKRA Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association.
I had been volunteering with VOKRA as an adoptions counsellor until late 2017, until one of my own kitties became terminally ill. After he passed away in February 2018, I still wasn’t in the space to take on adotpions, but I still love photographing the adoptable kitties.
Here are some of the kitties I photographed for VOKRA in 2018.
Nelson and Nanaimo. The cutest siblings, who loved to snuggle and groom each other.
Nelson looks just like a baby Polar bear when he is being groomed by Nanaimo.
Both kitties were adopted together.
Miss Chiff and Munchkin. Miss Chiff, the tuxie was a little shy to start but then launched herself into the thick of the play with her sister.
Then in November, right around Geoff’s birthday we welcomed our own VOKRA kitty into our home.
Perrin is still getting used to his very active sister, but they both sleep on the bed with us at night and happy to share the scratchy in the sun.
